Should I re-install the initial download?
No. Rarely will
a full reinstallation of the software correct any system problems and,
in most instances, it will create additional problems. Please contact
us for assistance before re-installing the software.
 When the system
creates an email update from my tracking notes, the body of the email
does not contain any message.
Not all email
software can support initializing the email body itself. The "body"
name/value is not included in the W3C* recommended standard
and is not universally applied. At this time AOL is the largest email
provider which does not support this feature. For these systems, the
body of the tracking is copied into the windows clipboard. Place the
cursor in the body of the email and "paste" (CTRL-V) into the email.
 When
I tried to open the program and nothing happens. There
are no messages of any kind.
The application will terminate with no messages if
a Baja windows task is running in your computer. Such
an active task may not be visible on your computer.
To correct the problem reboot your computer.
 I get the message
"Exe is not a valid win32 application" when I tried to open the downloaded
installation file.
The file
download terminated before completion. Occasionally, a lengthy file
download will terminate abruptly without any warning messages. Make
note of the total file length during the download and check the length
when the process is complete.
No cases are shown on the closed case report.
You must assign
a closing activity to each case for it to be considered closed.
The report I wish to run is in the Report menu but is not enabled.
Several
menu items require the appropriate folder to be opened in order to run.
To run the Repossession Order, first open the case folder then select
the report from the "Report Menu" or simply click on the RepoOrder button
within the case folder.
Why is my remote computer's license expired?
I can get on the main computer (server) fine and the other remotes are fine.
It is likely that the remote computer
that is having this problem has lost it's connection to the database through the ODBC.
Solution: Click on Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools (if they do not have an administrative
tools they are likely to have a blue background and need to change to classic view), Data Sources (ODBC),
double click on Baja, click Select. If the directory is listed as C then the remote is looking
at itself. Click the down arrow on the drives field. Choose the correct drive (likely R) and click
ok all the way out. Now try getting back into Baja and on the network.
Cause: It is likely that the computer was shut down AFTER the main computer or on before the main
computer. This would cause them to lose the ODBC connection.
